Southwest Scherer and Pryor Roads Intersection to Close for 45 Days

The intersection of Southwest Scherer and Southwest Pryor Roads will close on Wednesday, October 22, for 45 days for reconstruction. Southwest Scherer Road will be closed to through traffic between Southwest Sampson Road and Southwest Ward Road during this closure. Detour routes are available.

In related news, Southwest Sampson Road between Southwest Scherer and Southwest Hook roads has reopened. The Sampson Road Improvements project restored the natural stream channel, re-established native habitats, and reduced flooding risk upstream. It includes a new bridge over Mouse Creek supporting pedestrians, cyclists, and future trail connections.
